Roger Fallows Invests in Epsilon Delta’s Future

“Ever since I was a pledge it has been a goal to build a house. I got involved with the campaign because I saw a lot of momentum and wanted to do my part to make sure that it happened. The chapter has done a great job of being a standout organization; not just at North Texas or among all Pike chapters, but among all Fraternal organizations across the country.  They deserve to be rewarded. Why not be a part of something good and positive instead of just being a bystander? I want to see this finally come to fruition.” Roger Fallows on why he chose to get involved with the Investing in the Future of our Brotherhood campaign.

As the son of a proud Pike from Carnegie Mellon University, Roger Fallows remembers going on vacations as a child with his father, his Fraternity brothers, and their kids.  It was no wonder that the Pikes at North Texas State were the first Fraternity men to reach out to Roger during recruitment after he moved to North Texas. “To be fair,” Roger said, “actually a couple of Epsilon Delta Little Sisters came knocking on my door in Clark Hall to invite me to a mixer, so I was being given the royal treatment”.

Attending the mixer was just the beginning of Roger’s Epsilon Delta memories. He remembers finally getting the fire truck started (thank you Ralph Jones), and riding around at night singing Pike songs, intramural sports, and throwing snowballs at tuba players the year that it snowed 5 inches when the football team played Florida State for homecoming.

From a friendship and fraternal standpoint, many brothers were from out of town and often out of state just like Roger. Older brothers such as Randy Cozart, Larry Bailey, George Holland, and Randy Simms took Roger under their wing and helped him adjust to life in Texas and the pressures of college life. By learning from others in the Fraternity Roger gained experience with business protocol, business professionalism, treating people well, and goal setting; friendships and skills that continue to impact his life today!

After a long, successful career in Enterprise software sales, Roger is now enjoying a fruitful career as an entrepreneur in the executive search industry. His company, ASAP Talent Services, specializes in SAP consultants, business development professionals and executives. He still enjoys frequent brotherhood with Larry Thompson, Norris Perry, Maco Amoyo, Don Burrows, Rob Slesinger, and many others in various capacities such as golf, listening to live music, or just grilling out on the back patio.
